WELCOME!Port Macquarie Table Tennis Club offers fun and enjoyment to players of all ages.You don't have to be a skilled player to join our club. Our members range in ages from retirement to primary school.If you wish to play socially or for the exercise then join in with a large group who prefer that.If you wish to grow higher in the sport then we have internal competitions and we have qualified coaches who can help you at no cost.We play competitive matches within other towns and some players compete in other table tennis competitions. Our club has around 50 members. They range from juniors to seniors with some handicapped members.We currently play Monday evenings from 5 to 8PM, Wednesday evenings from 4:30 to 7:30PM and we have a coaching day for seniors on a Friday from 10 to 12PM.We have several qualified coaches who coach voluntarily on these days. Most coaching is done on Wednesday and Friday.We are affiliated with Table Tennis NSW.Our tables include specialised handicapped tables and if you do not have a bat, we can loan you a club bat.We have two robots and several practice nets that allow you to improve your shots at your own pace.We are mostly a social club and you can visit and try out to see if table tennis is a game you would like to play. Coaches and senior members are available to offer help if you wish.We are a community based club and conduct school training at local schools although that will not recommence until after Covid-19. A number of our players have “Working With Children” certificates. Our club is highly regarded in country table tennis. We submit around 8 teams in the annual Gosford Country Carnival with several teams often winning medals.Several of our players have won state and country awards and one of our members is the current 75YO world champion in singles.We have a full Covid-19 program in place and practice Covid-19 registration.
